  • Prayer For The Week: October 13 - 19, 2013

Lord, we pray that your grace may always precede and follow us, that we may continually be given to good works; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

  • Prayer For The Week: October 6 - 12, 2013

Almighty and everlasting God, you are always more ready to hear than we to pray, and to give more than we either desire or deserve: Pour upon us the abundance of your mercy, forgiving us those things of which our conscience is afraid, and giving us those good things for which we are not worthy to ask, except through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ our Savior; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

  • Update On My Doings And Citizenship

Okay. I thought Xanga.com shut down. I see that its still here. Know what do I do? I have been journaling on my wordpress site for the past months.

September 17th = Citizenship Day in the U.S.A.
    Happy Citizenship Day!

I'm thankful for my American Citizenship and my Citizenship in Heaven. I have dual citizenship; An earthly one and an heavenly one. Doing Life In The Kingdom Of God.

September 17 will also be a special day for me. The Lord made Himself known to me..... I celebrate this day always. I couldn't sleep last night. I was up til midnight. I'm glad that I was.

I greeted Sept 17th with a smile in prayer. This day is my remembrance Of Jesus warming my heart, touching me and allowing me to hear His voice. I'm thankful for my relationship with the Lord. I see the importance of having Jesus in my life. He is my life.

Also, Sept 17th is my New Year in ChurchLife. It's been 20 years since I've been apart of churchlife. That's what I call it. I began attending church on Sunday September 12, 1993. Then on that Friday night Sept 17th, I attended church again. I've been going to church ever since. It took me a month to be a church member.

I've been learning things along the journey of life. ChurchLife has been changing over the many years. I'm thankful for the people who I have met. I'm thankful to be apart of the Church. Most of all I'm so thankful that the Lord is saving me day by day.

    Thanks for reading,

  • Goodbye Xanga.com!

I want to thank Xanga.com for the opportunity to be apart of  this Xanga.com Community. I joined on November 13, 2006. I'm thankful that I came across this site through church connections.  I have grown along the journey. I'm thankful that I got to share some of my life with the world.

It has been a journey. And a journey it has been. There were times in my early days on Xanga.com when I did want to leave. But through the years, I stuck with it. And now I believe it's time to leave and move on.

I will continue to journal. I don't think it will be like what I did here on Xanga.com.  But my journaling life will continue. I got to keep journaling.

In My Final Days On Xanga.com:
I've  been looking through my blogs. So many good memories that I have shared with this Xanga.com Blog Community. I'm sad that things have to end this way.

I don't have many who still blog on my subscriptions list. I'll keep checking on my subscriptions until the end of Xanga.com on July 15, 2013.

Many of my subscribers have left long long time ago. Only 4 people have stated what they plan to do.  I'm thankful for that. Thanks for blogging.

As I look back, I've put so much into what I've posted.
And so much I was faithful in doing...
I hope that what I've posted did bless those who read them.
    May God be the glory.

With New Beginnings and A New Adventure Ahead

I always had a plan to post some thing on xanga.com every day. I was looking forward to this year on Xanga.com. Until, I heard the news. Than my thoughts changed. I have been thinking and praying.

I don't want to leave Xanga.com on sour note. I'll leaving with a good attitude. No hard feelings. I wish Xanga the best of luck.

It's been a journey for me. Xanga.com has been place where I came to journal. It was a journal that I shared what the public. I met some friends along the way.

Now, I'm starting on a new jouranling journey. I would have like to continue on with Xana.com. I have concluded that it's time to depart. Things will be different.

Indeed, I will make it. I don't know if I'll start another blog site. I plan to take a break from journaling like I did on xanga.com. It takes time to start over again with a new blog site.

I know that every thing has to come to an end some time. And every ending has a new beginning. It's a fresh new start to do other things in life.

I have seen that the end of my Xanga.com journey is drawing to a close. The dawning of a new day has come. It's time to moving on into what's ahead.

May God Bless all who have been blessed through Xanga.com.. May God continue to bless those who continue on with the New Xanga. And may the Lord comfort those who feel a lost through the changes in Xanga.com.

Finally, I wish all  Goodness on your journey through out your lifetime. We, all should have learned some things through the Xanga.com Community. May God bless you and keep you in His watchful eyes. And may some of us meet again some day. If not on earth but after the resurrection of the body.  Amen!

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • My Xanga.com Milestone: Reflections 2006 - 2013

My Xanga.com Journey Milestone: At The Crossroad

On November 13, 2013 would have been my 7th year in Xanga.com. I can't believe that could have been here that long. And  it looks like the end in drawing near than I expected.

When I joined in 2006, I started on the Word Of Life Church Blogring. That was a long time ago. It appears that I'm the only person left on Word Of Life Church Blogring who kept blogging.  Majority of the members moved on to facebook.

As I looked back, in my early years on Xanga.com, my writing style was a lot different than my latter days. I would have some thing to share every single day. I had my blogs all set up to post. I like the future posting.

Now days, especially this year, I seem to have slacked off in journaling. It's not because I'm the only member on my first blogring or that I have had few comments. It could be because I have other websites to manage.

I like to blog and journaling. I just to struggle when it comes to Xanga.com. I have a lifetime membership here. I believe that I got my money's worth. This website wasn't free for me. I paid. And I blogged.

I was a lifetime member on Xanga.com. I couldn't figure out how the lifetime membership would work on WordPress.  The lifetime of Xanga.com will expire soon. And so will my lifetime membership will expire with it.  The departure is nearing.

I know that people love to be on free websites. Then there are times there are complaints arise. Those changes come and whatever.... People can't be satisfied. What can we expect for free?

I have no complaints on my free websites. I have went with the with the flow of things when websites are free. I had to make the changes that are needed along the journey. .

My final day on Xanga.com will come. I'll keep on journaling. I'm not tried or hold hard feeling on Xanga.com.  I thought about giving a donation. I couldn't figure how to do it soe I left it alone.

I can say I didn't abandon my site. In situtation in life things will  abandon us if when don't agree on things. There are times when we have to walk away and make the departure.

Now with the situation here on Xanga.com, it looks like choices have been made. And I have to make my choice and choose what to do. And I have made my choice.

May we keep up with what we started.
May we end what we need to end.
May we learn to adjust the changes that come in our lifetime.
May the Lord direct us in the way that we should be going.
    Amen

Thanks to all who over the years have read what I posted.
I will continue to blog on my other sites.
My final Good Bye To Xanga.com Blog will post on June 25, 2013.

Thanks for reading what I have posted on Journaling_Susan

  • Project: Completion

I'm working on my final project.
I will complete it on Tuesday June 25, 2013.

It's be a long journey and an unexpected ending.
I put so much into this project.
But, I have to find the words to finish it.

I will always have new projects to work on.
Then there comes a time when there's no more to do on a project.
The project has to have a conclusion.

May we all complete what we started.
May we end on a good note.
May the Lord watch over us as we continue on life's journey.

    Prayer:

Almighty God, by whose grace and power your holy martyr Alban triumphed over suffering and was faithful even to death: Grant us, who now remember him in thanksgiving, to be so faithful in our witness to you in this world, that we may receive with him the crown of life; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

  • In A New Season

    Welcome to The Next Season!

We've entered into a New Season.
As the season changes from one to the next,
I tend to move into the next season with it.

I'm moving on into what's ahead.
    I don't know what's set before me.
I'm making some changes along the road when it comes.

May we make adjustments along the way in life.
May we see that when the season in life comes to move with it.
May the Lord direct our pathway as we make the changes.
    Amen

Wishing All The Best on each season on life!

    I'm at a cross road.
    Which way will I choice?
    Which way will you go?
