Well, it looks like things have been changing here on Xanga. I have been hearing the news. This was my very first blog site I had. Now, it looks like we may be departing.
I have though about what to do. I was shocked by the news. Things have been changing over the years. Things cost. I'm thankful that I was apart of Xanga since Nov 13, 2006. It's been 6 years on the journey. And perhaps the end.
I've been looking through some of what I've written. I didn't what to look what I have posted. But it appears that I will. 6 years in downloading? I posted just about every single day.
I've copied my family history posting and posted them on my ancestry.com site. I will continue to be here till the end or whatever. I don't know how things will end up. I have to makes some choices by July 15.
May the Lord guide us in what to do.
Amen.
Thanks for reading.
Susan
I'll continue to post scriptures and less blogging.

With my whole heart have I sought thee; O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.... I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

Almighty God
Almighty God, you have revealed to your Church your eternal Being of glorious majesty and perfect love as one God in Trinity of Persons: Give us grace that, like your bishop Basil of Caesarea, we may continue steadfast in the confession of this faith, and constant in our worship of you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; for you live and reign for ever and ever. Amen.

These commandments that I give you today are to be upon hears. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Bring Forth
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse...and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
Malachi 3:10 KJV
Almighty God, you led your pilgrim people of old with fire and cloud: Grant that the ministers of your Church, following the example of blessed Enmegahbowh, may stand before your holy people, leading them with fiery zeal and gentle humility. This we ask through Jesus, the Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God now and forever. Amen.

A Blog Remembered
I was looking at some of my blogs that I was planning on posting. One of them caught my attention. What my lost blog was about. It was about cutting back of some things. I can't recall what I put in that post. But here goes this one.
I was thinking about somet things that I need to cut back on. There are things in life that I believe that we should cut back on or even let go of. We don't have to keep doing every things that we think that we should.
There are some things in life we should continue to do. It's common sense. Then there are some things in our lives when we have a choice to cut back or discontinue in doing.
I can' t continue on doing some things that drain me and suck the life out of me.
Something has to give in that situation.
Me or it. We can only do so much.
May we learn to now our limits.
Lord Jesus have mercy on us.
Amen.
Thanks for reading.
Susan
I'll be doing some things different.
Posting scripture... not just blogging.
There are changes in Xanga.
Scripture
Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws,
we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our heart.
My soul yearns for you in the night;
in the morning my spirit longs for you.
Isaiah 26:8 NIV
Grant, O God, that we may follow the example of your faithful servant Barnabas, who, seeking not his own renown but the wellbeing of your Church, gave generously of his life and substance for the relief of the poor and the spread of the Gospel; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

A Lost Blog
The oddest thing happened. I was doing typing a blog and had every thing ready to post. I click on saved. And it would be saved.
Yes, I was mad. I tried to recover what I wrote. It was lost. I can recall what I even posted. It was one of my on the moment post. The inspiration that was in me that the time I was typing. It was a rainy day that day. I was about to get out my computer. I have been having internet and phone woes through the week. That could have been the problem too.
I tried to recall what my blog was about. My mind is a blank. So, I though, what should I post in replace of that blog? Well, this blog.
Maybe the thought of the other blog will come to my thinking. Or maybe I shouldn't have posted that blog. I don't know. But still I'm not happy when I couldn't save that blog.
I have gotten over the lost. I should pounder the matter. It won't do any good. So I have changed my attitude. I'm moving on. I'm keeping on keeping on.
May we continue to post no matter what.
May the Lord give us creative things to share with one another.
Amen!
Thanks for reading.

Project Family History Update
I'm been on my family history quest for the Summer Time. I started last month. I'm coming across more leads to fall up on. I like that.
I've been going back over some of what I discover. I'm find more as am re reading some of what I had. I have seen some corrections that I had to make.
I had a cousin who wanted me to call her Uncle. He wanted to talk with me about the family history. I called him and he was waiting for my call. Boy was he excited when I called.
We talked for about 70 minutes. He shared with me some things that I haven't heard of. One interesting thing that he knew some of the people who I've been hearing about on our family tree.
He shared about his Grandpa Richard who was my Great Uncle. It was interesting to hear what Great Uncle Richard was like. He wouldn't talk about what he went through after slavery. Richard was born about the year after slavery had ended. .
I'm wanting to find out more about my relatives. It's interesting to know who is on the family tree. I believe that there are many others out there who has something the add to the family history.
The question is are there any relatives or people who know something about the family history would be willing to share what they know. What they heard? I hope so.
I will continue on my journey's quest. I want to discover as much as I can. I know that I would find out everything that I want to know. But I'm thankful for what things that I have becoming across.
May we continue to explore and discover.
May the grace of God lead us on.
May we see the good in keeping on in what we love doing.
Amen.
Thanks for reading.
Susan
P.S.
I loved sharing some of my projects here on Xanga.
I made some process on my family tree.
I will continue on my projects on my other websites.

Learning Not To Do Everything Asked
I can't do everything people ask of me to do. I know that for sure. Yes, common sense has to click in from time to time. I got to learn how to say "no" thank you more often.
I see a lot of opportunities this week to do some things. Yes, I could have done some. I thought about it. And I decided to not part take in them.
I'm not into some of the things that are out there. I'm not an outside person in the evening time. Nor do I enjoy to events where I feel out of place. So why set myself up?
I have been learning to do other things in replace of the event or activities. I have a choose to do what over ask of me or not. I choose what I choose.
I don't want to do things to have others do the same for me. I mean it's not a favor thing. Like you old me one. Remember I when I did so and so for you? That's not the point in doing what others ask of you.
We should do things out of the heart of the love of God that's in us. We should be willing to reach out to our family members or whosoever is in our lives. Love strives us to do what we do. Well at least it should.
There should be a good feeling in what we are doing. Especially when others ask of us. But there are times when I'm not feeling so good in doing some of the things that have been asked of me.
In the long run, through time and experiences, we learn to grow in the things that we know that's good for us. And for those things that are draining our being of peace. We should learn the difference.
I think that it will be a Great Summer 2013. I have may plans. I have learned to say no to many things. I plan not to be over worked by some things that don't serve the purpose in doing what's needed.
May we learn to say no to things that aren't good for us.
May the Lord grant us wisdom along the journey.
May we just enjoy the things that we do.
May we not feel guilty when we don't do what's asked of us.
Amen.
Thanks for reading.
Susan
P.S.
I've hear the news of Xanga situation.
I not for sure what's going on.
I don't know about downloading back from November 13, 2006 blogs.
That's a lot.

Spring Time: ?
It's nearing the ending of Spring in a few weeks. But I wondered if Spring was here? There were times when I forgot what season we were in during the Spring Season.
It snowed. It was very windy. We had fog. We had frost. It's been super hot and brrr cold. We have this and that which doesn't make sense. That's weird weather in the season of time.
I shouldn't compline. The season appears behind time. It's much cooler than the normal. The land has been watered every week. The fields and gardens are going. Seed time harvest time is coming.
May we endure in seasons of change.
May we come and enjoy.
May the Lord keep us and bring us into a new season.
Amen.
Thanks for reading.
